Bret Michaels Rocks Annapolis All Night Long

Article & Images by Renita Clarke

If anyone knows me, they know how much I adore Poison. When I got the ok to cover the Bret Michaels Band show, I was more than stoked.

This was by far one of the best nights I’ve had as a photog. From singing along with fans, Bret pulling me on stage to shoot the crowd and him and ending the night with a personal moment with Bret, a fan & myself,  discussing the tragedy in Orlando. I would have to say the night was truly epic.

Michaels kicked off his sold out show at Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis, with a classic Poison track “Talk Dirty To Me” and continue to keep the hits coming from “Unskinny Bop”  & “Look What The Cat Dragged In”.  Michaels then left the stage for a dope drum solo by Mike Bailey and then returned with some great covers from Sublime and KISS.

Bret and the BMB put on one hell of a show and we can’t wait for round 2 during the Thanksgiving break.

Missed the show…shame on you…but you can check out a little of the greatness below:

Sixx:AM Rocked Baltimore

Written & Images by Renita Clarke

Hard rock took over the streets of Baltimore last night as Sixx:AM hit the stage at Rams Head Live. Nikki Sixx, DJ Ashba, James Michael and the rest of the band killed their set. High energy, awesome light show and strong track after next, made for a rockin’ joyride. Sixx:AM is currently promoting their new album “Prayers for the Damned Vol 1”.

A congratulations is in order for the band, since this marks their 5 studio album and it shot to number 2 on the Billboard Rock charts. This is also just the first half of a double album, with the second half expected later this year.

With Michael’s wide vocal range and Sixx & Ashba being 2 of the best guitarist in the business, this is a tour you don’t want to past up. The songs gives you a good hard rock, powerful and deep vibe. We’re sure there going to be many hits from this album and volume 2.

Kiefer Sutherland ‘Not Enough Whiskey’ Tour Stops in Annapolis

Written & Images by Renita Clarke

Kiefer Sutherland Band graced the stage of Rams Head OnStage in Annapolis last night, to a sold out crowd. Kiefer Sutherland Band is currently on their ‘Not Enough Whiskey’ Tour.

Sutherland states that he would like to stay in the “small bar scene”.  Sutherland loves the small crowd intimacy he gets to have with his fans. So folks this means, you will not want to wait to get your tickets to see the Kiefer Sutherland Band because I’m sure this will not be their last sold out show.

Kiefer Sutherland Band delivers a 90 minute set of awesome outlaw country rock. Sutherland even shares a toast of a shot of whiskey with the crowd before going into their single “Not Enough Whiskey”.

Even though the music was new to the crowd, since the album isn’t set to be released by June, they definitely seemed like they were having a great time.

Floetry 2 Sold Out Shows at Howard Theater

Written & Images by Renita Clarke

Marsha Ambrosius and Natalie Stewart have got the band back together and THANK GOD for it! Floetry is back together and currently on their “Reunion Tour”. The girls stopped by the famous Howard Theater in Washington DC and was greeted with not one but two SOLD OUT shows. The duo sang songs from their two highly successful studio albums “Floetic” & “FLo’Ology”. Also during the song the duo have a solo set each. Natalie converses with the crowd and sings “Breathe” from her solo album “Floetic Soul”. Marsha then comes out a sings from their “Flo’Ology” album entitled “Feelings” and a new song she wrote. Floetry ended the evening with their biggest hits, “Say Yes”, “Getting Late” & “Floetic”. At any time does the ladies address why they broke up or why they’ve been gone so long, but let me tell you it doesn’t matter. Floetry picks right back up where they left off and its glorious.
